SETTLING CHARACTERISTICS OF ACTIVATED SLUDGE AT BROMMA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
The research program STAMP (Control and Operacion ofWastewater Trearment Plants – New Merhods and New Process Technology) was introduced by NUTEK in the year of 1991. In the consortium of Stockholm a close cooperarion has been esrablished between Stockholm Water Ltd. and two departments of Royal Institute Technology. Those are Dept. of Warer Resources Engineering and Dept. of Biochemistry and Biotechnology.
The purpose of the sedimentarion project (Dept. ofWater Resources Engineering) was to evaluate parameters used for characterization of sludge sedimentarion properties, factors influencing sludge sedimentation properties and modelling and evaluaiion ofsedimentation basins. “Complete abstract not presented.”
